Summary
In Luke 15 Jesus uses three parables to teach us what God thinks of the lost. We are all familiar with them: the parable of the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the prodigal son. We will cover the first two of those today… Each of these stories reveals the heart of God for the lost, the broken, and believers who have gone astray.
God’s pursuit is not cautious or limited—it is bold and persistent, driven by His deep desire to see everyone who is far from Him brought home. This “reckless” love doesn’t abandon us in our brokenness but meets us where we are, carries us back, and celebrates our return with joy.
