Summary
Too often, we find ourselves comfortable in the stands of our faith, spectators rather than participants, observers rather than doers. We come to church, we sing the hymns, we listen to the sermons, but are we truly engaging with the essence of Christianity?
The Apostle James admonishes us in James 1:22, saying, “But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves.” These words echo through the ages, piercing through the complacency that can settle into our hearts. We are called not only to hear the Word but to live it out in every aspect of our lives.
